1. Purpose
The manager can quickly add items by importing them from an Excel file. The manager can import items from an existing Excel file or import items from the Excel template file of the program.
2. Instruction steps
In case of using the existing Excel file of the shop
To import items with MShopKeeper Import Data tool, please follow these steps:
Note:
- Open MShopKeeper Import Data tool following the path C:\MISA JSC\MShopKeeper\Bin, double click on the icon
. - For the first time of using MShopKeeper Import Data tool, you need to log in MShopKeeper Sale software. For the next times, you do not need to do so.
Step 1: Check list of items in the existing Excel file
Check list of existing items in the shop. Note: Separate Color and size with comma.
Step 2: Import list of items from the Excel file
Select the source file.
1. Click Select file to upload the Excel file.
2. Select the number of rows. For example: The data row in the Excel file starts from the 8th row, enter number 8 here.
3. Click Next.
Combine data.
1. The program lists the data columns: SKU code, Item name, Selling price, Color, Size. You need to select the columns corresponding to these columns on the software. At Data column in the source file, click the arrow symbol to select the data column in the Excel file corresponding to these columns on the software.
SKU code is the item ID and used to distinguish items instead of item name. It is used for internalmanagement like inventory management and report
2. After that, click Next.
Confirm.
1. Check the items you want to import.
2. Edit the selling price if you want to change the price of items with multiple colors or sizes.
3. Click Import.
Step 4: Import.
1. The program will show notification on importing items successfully, click Complete to finish importing items.
2. If you want to print labels for the newly imported items, click Print label. View instruction on how to Print label here.
In case of using the Excel template file of the program
To import items with MShopKeeper Import Data tool, please follow these steps:
Note: You need to open MShopKeeper software before using MShopKeeper Import Data tool
Step 1: Prepare list of items on the Excel file
1. Click here to download the Excel template file.
2. Enter items into this Excel file. Then save and close the file.
Note: If SKU code column is left blank, the program will automatically generate this code.
