Overview on the operation of the shop

1. Purpose
The manager can check the performance of the shop according to multiple criteria like Daily operation, Sales, Costs, Profit.

2. Instruction steps
In Overview screen, the software shows reports, charts on Daily operation, Sales, Costs, Profit, Pay-in and Pay-out by time, Sales per item category, Best selling item, Sales by time, Profit by time. Here are details of reports and charts:
1. Daily operation
Purpose: The manager can follow up daily sales, how much the shop earns a day, how many bills are paid and being processed.

a. Pay-in in the day: is total pay-ins in the day up to the time of checking report. It is detailed by Sale, Debt pay-in/COD collection, Deposit and Other pay-ins.
b. Estimate sales: Summarize the bills which have been paid, is being processed.
c. Bill: is total paid amount at the shop and delivery.

2. Sales, Costs, Profit
Purpose: The manager can check Sales, Costs, Profit in the reporting period.

a. Sales is total revenue and other pay-ins in the reporting period
b. Costs is total costs of items (Total stock issue value) and other costs (costs are summarized and recognized at Costs and on other stock issue notes, stock issue for checking)
c. Profit: Sales – Costs.

3. Pay-in/Pay-out by time
Purpose:
The manager can follow us the status of pay-ins and pay-outs in order to adjust if needed

a. Pay-in: Total pay-ins on Cashbook details and Bank deposit details in the reporting period.
b. Pay-out: Total pay-outs on Cashbook details and Bank deposit details in the reporting period.
c. Difference: Pay-in – Pay-out.

4. Sales per item/Best selling items

  • Sales per item

Purpose: Compare Sales per item to know which item has high revenue.

  • Best selling item

Purpose: The manager can check which item is the best sold.

5. Sales by time/Profit by time/Sales, Costs Profit by time.

  • Sales by time

Purpose: Compare sales of the shop by time: hours in a day, days in a week, days in a month, weeks in a month, check the peak hours.

  • Profit by time

Purpose: The manager can check the status of Sales, Cost price, Profit over time in order to make a good business plan.

a. Sales: Total sales (excluding promotion, discount)
b. Cost price: Total stock issue value for sale (deducting stock receipt value of the returned items)
c. Profit: Sales – Cost price

  • Sales, Costs, Profit by time

Purpose: The manager can compare Sales, Costs, Profit in months, quarters, years in order to evaluate the performance.

a. Sales: Total sales (excluding promotion, discount)
b. Cost price: Total stock issue value for sale (deducting stock receipt value of the returned items)
c. Profit: Sales – Cost price

6. For a Shop chain, the manager can check reports on Sales ratio by shop.
Purpose: The chain manager can easily check and compare the performance of the shops in the chain.
